Visiting Scientist April 2025-June 2025.
I’m Hamid, a PhD student at research Institute of Geography SAS, where I explore how Machine Learning models can help us understand riparian vegetation dynamics using Remote Sensing techniques. I have a background in Geoinformatics and Environmental Science, and my work is primarily centered around aerial and satellite image processing. I also have a keen interest in research focused on scalable geospatial workflows and using open science approaches to make Remote Sensing more efficient in addressing environmental challenges.
