My name is Harry Biddle. I am a mathematician and software engineer currently working as Data Team Lead at the Stockholm Environment Institute, where I lead the development of tools for the Trase project—mapping global commodity supply chains and their impacts on the environment. My research interests lie in the field of commodity supply chain mapping, with a focus on harnessing numerical computing and data engineering to support environmental transparency and sustainability. I hold degrees in Mathematics (BA, 2010) and Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing (MSc, 2011) from the University of Oxford. Before joining SEI, I worked in the renewable energy startup scene in Germany, as well as in research and data engineering roles in the geoinformation and visual effects industries.
