I am a biologist and hold a PhD in conservation biology. I am an independent researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research in Argentina. For more than 15 years, I have been researching the causes and consequences of deforestation and forest degradation in the Chaco Seco region. Over time, I have incorporated interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches to address the human dimension of conservation and sustainable forest use.
