Visiting Scientist August 2025 - October 2025.
My name is Ricardo Torres, and I am a researcher from Córdoba, Argentina. I am the head of the Applied Biogeography Laboratory at IDEA (Instituto de Diversidad y Ecología Animal, CONICET) and also a professor at the Museo de Zoología of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. My interest lies in applying commonly used tools in biogeography to answer diverse questions in ecology, taxonomy, and land use science. I work with South American vertebrates, mainly mammals, as objects of study, and mainly in the Gran Chaco region.
